Cashelane Stud is part of Cashelane Farm. On this 700 acre farm overlooking Dunmanus Bay the owners have been breeding Pedigree Beef Cattle, mainly Aberdeen Angus, for decades. Also a small donkey herd is kept.
In recent years the breeding of Irish Cobs (the heavily feathered traditional type) and Connemara Ponies has begun. The photo below shows the riding arenas at Cashelane Stud with Dunmanus Bay in the background.
